Online Safety for Children
Online Safety for Pupils of Mendip Green School
At Mendip Green, we are proud to have a very active Online Safety Committee made up of adults and children from all across the school. The children advise their peers about how we can be as safe as possible when using the Internet. They come up with amazing ideas for lessons and classroom activities and take part in school services to advise their friends on how to stay safe.

Remember to tell an adult at school if there is anything that has or is worrying you online. You can speak to any trusted adult in school. The adult will listen to your worries, give you advice and reassure you. If they are unsure of the best advice to give you, they will make sure they check with Mr Barton, Mrs Young, Mr Oakley or Miss Walton. Adults at school may decide to chat to a grown up at home or speak to Mr Oakley or Miss Walton. This will be to keep you safe and to make sure that your worry has been properly dealt with.
